Student musicians who perform on the scores do so for the educational experience of working in a recording studio environment.

This is an advanced program and students will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of music theory by taking a placement test on the first day of the class.

The results of this test will determine whether a student is required to take Practical Music Theory for the Contemporary Composer as their first week elective.
