Under Construction

We are in the building phase of a new post-secondary (undergraduate level) certificate program for aspiring film and media composers looking to fast track their training. This one year program will focus on composition and film studies to prepare students for entry into our Professional Certificate program, allowing them to start their careers in just two years. This will be a great option for career focused composers who may not want to go down the traditional 4-year undergraduate degree route.

We have recently updated our certificate program from a 2-year program to a 1-year program. The list of courses below represent our current foundation for this new certificate program. These are not yet set in stone and are subject to change as we continue to build our curriculum, but they should give a fairly good representation of what we are planning to offer and the overall layout of the program.
