Summer Intensive

Join Us!

Come study the art, craft, and business of music for film and other media in a two-week seminar with 2 time Emmy Award winning composer/arranger Hummie Mann, other veterans of the industry, and a group of students from around the world.

About the Program

Ever since the launch of our website, The Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program has received requests from prospective students who either do not live in the Seattle area or who wish to take some of the program's training in a more compressed time period. In order to accommodate these students, we created the Two Week Summer Intensive Program, which ran in Seattle every year from 2001 to 2015 and is now offered every other year. The program has become extremely popular, attracting students from as far away as Australia, Brazil, Columbia, Dubai, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Romania, Scotland, Sweden, Turkey and United Arab Emirates as well as from all over the US and Canada

The 2019 two-week program will be held at the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, both in downtown Seattle a few blocks from each other near the Seattle Center, from Monday August 12th through Friday August 23rd.  There will be a registration/Meet and Greet Event on Sunday August 11th in the afternoon.

Tuition discounts are available to early registrants as well as a special “Welcome Package” to those who book their hotel stay early.  The package includes:

1 Space Needle ticket ($37.50 value), 4 Monorail passes ($20 value), Seattle’s Best Chocolates,

KuKuRuZa Gourmet Popcorn, and Bottled Water.
